I am sorry to say I never got to meet Evel Knievel. I did however meet his son Robbie Kniviel and wow what a nice guy. He was so down to earth. I got my picture taken with Robbie and so did my two youngest girls, they loved it. The best part is that we got to see Robbie jump the night before at the Nashville Speedway. It was one of the best things I have seen in a long time. There is no limit to his talent! Can't wait to see him jump at the end of this year. The only bad news about that is I will have to watch it from my living room!..

I met with my family,EVEL,in 1979,in wilkes-barre,pa.he showed us his bus and tralier. In it were one of his jump bikes, his jump suit, new toys, like the stunt bike, also a 20"kids bicycle. Also prints of his paintings, which he had me pick one. HE autographed it and handed it to me.that day was one heck of a thrill, especially for me. i'm a motorcyclist because of him. I recently had it metted and framed, and it now resides above my bed on the wall. I for one will never forget him.and i will continue telling this story,Evel Forever, from CURT!!!..

I met Evel in NJ in the 80's. I lived next to a radio station that he was doing an interview at. I waited in the parking lot for him to arrive and met him as he got out of his white Cadilac. He was nice and really sincere. I didn't have anything for him to sign so he asked his driver to get a card. the card was a business card and he signed it for me. I still have it today. The card read Happy Landings Evel Knievel. I was so happy, all I wanted to do was shake his hand and say hello. He took a few minuites to talk to me and shook my hand and said thanks for waiting for me. I was shocked that I was the only one waiting for him and I really saw how much he appreciated it. Really a good guy...

I met EVEL at a jump in 1973 at the KC speedway. He brought me in his trailer and let me hold his cane. My sister and I got his autograph, then he did his jump. I was 5 years old and to this very day my life has been shaped by that encounter...He was the utmost entertainer of the world.....

I met Evil when we played Golf In Clearwater Fl. with Flynt and Jim Jones and the Jr womens golf champ (She won) but Rob even with all of his injuries out played the rest of us. He was truly a pillar of stamina and pushing the edge. Everything about him was larger than life. His black Lamborghinni to his Harley to the hotel he bought and renovated as a condo. I continued to have beverages with him many times after that and he visited my restaurant in St Pete often He will be remembered for a long time. ..
